How do I edit or remove my classified ad or company ad?

In your "My Account" page, click "My Ads". You will find all of your ads here. Click on the ad you want to edit or delete.

How do I reactivate my classified ad or company ad?

In your "My Account" page, click "My Ads". You will find all of your ads here. Click "activate" on the ad you want to repost.

Why can't I find my ad?
|

1. Refresh your screen. Ads rotate between blocks or scroll down the page.
2. Make sure you selected a State and City. Ads will not appear without this selection.
3. Verify your ad is activated on "My Ads" page.
4. Did you upload it correctly? You will received a message "Ad Uploaded Successfully" after you upload your ad.
5. Did you violate the posting rule? Your add may be removed if you violate posting rule.
6. If you still cannot find your ad, contact us at info@biglifeads.com.

Can I video myself for the personals page?
|

Yes, however, no nudity or pornographic material is allowed. Violator's ads will be removed. A second violation is subject to account removal.

What video files are accepted?
|

BigLifeAds accepts a variety of video file formats such as .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, and .MPG. You can transfer from a computer, most digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones.

How do I transfer my video ad to my computer?
|
|
|
After you have recorded your ad, connect to your devise to your computer using a USB or FireWire port. Download the video from your device to your computer. Upon completion, you are ready to upload the file. (See "How do I upload a video" for uploading instructions.)

How big can my video file be?

The largest video file size accepted is 5 MB.

What personal information is shown to viewers?

You have complete control over what is shown to viewers. Put as much or as little contact or personal information as you choose. (No registration information is shown or given to users at any time.)

I don't want to provide personal info on my ad. What can I do?

You can create a temporary email through BigString.com, Gmail, AOL, AIM, Fastmail, Gawab.com, GMX, Inbox.com, Windows Live Hotmail, Yahoo Zenbe, and more. Just use this email for all communication.

What ads are prohibited?

Soliciting illegal activity either implicitly or explicitly is prohibited. Improperly categorizing ads is prohibited. Ads showing nudity or pornographic material are prohibited. Ads advocating hate, threats, violence, or illegal activities.

Can I link an ad to my web site?
|
|

Yes. However, the following restrictions apply to all linked ads.
BLA prohibits linking ads to web sites that contain the following: adult material, illegal activity, advocating hate, scams, pyramid schemes, bait-and-switch, or any other activity BLA finds inappropriate or or harmful to the user.
Feature ads purchased that violate BLA ad link restrictions, are subject to immediate removal. Due to the inexpensive cost of the ads, we cannot offer refunds. However, we will offer you the option to link your paid ad to another site that does not violate BLA restrictions.

How many ads can I post?

As many as you want. However, do not post duplicate ads. Duplicate ads will be disabled by the administrator.

My video is more than 5MB and is not accepted. How can I compress my video?
|
|
|
There are numerous programs that compress your videos. Windows Movie Maker, Muvee, Quick Time, and more. A quick search on the internet will provide more info. A simple way to do this in your video program is to select "Publish to web" this will compress the file. Also, by clicking "email video" will compress your video as well.

What is a featured ad spot?

If your ad requires more visibility, you can purchase a feature ad spot. This means your ad will show up in feature areas throughout the site.

Are there hidden costs or will I ever have to pay?
|
|
|
Absolutely not! There are no hidden costs. The only fee based ads are if you choose to purchase a feature spot. But that is not required of you.
